Highlighting the Importance of Bees on the Local News

In celebration of World Bee Day, Connecticut Beekeepers Association President Bill Hesbach appeared on WTNH’s Good Morning Connecticut to raise awareness about the vital role bees play in agriculture and the environment. Bill spoke about CBA’s mission to educate and mentor new beekeepers, as well as the importance of hands-on training through their teaching yard in Cheshire.

Educating, Inspiring, and Protecting Our Pollinators on World Bee Day and Beyond

Bill shared insights on bee behavior, pollination, and the challenges beekeepers face—including this year’s loss of over a million hives in the pollination industry. With curiosity, care, and a long-standing human relationship with bees, more people are stepping up to support pollinator health.
